Is it painful?
No, your eyes are anesthetized with the help of eye drops so you won't feel any pain during the laser. You will be given pain killer tablets and drops to help relieve any pain for a few days.
When can I return to work?
Most of the patients return to work in a couple of days to a week.
What happens if I blink or move during laser eye surgery?
Your eye is held open with a speculum. You are asked to fixate on a target light. And if there is any movement of the eye, the smart detector readjusts the laser beam. If there is gross movement Laser stops till the eye is again in centre. The laser therapy is completed in a few seconds.
